Quality Assurance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician / Inspector to join our team! This role is responsible for supporting Quality Control through inspections, testing, reporting, and continuous improvement activities. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong inspection experience who takes pride in accuracy and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections in accordance with drawings, specifications, and procedures
- Identify and segregate non-conforming materials and document findings
- Conduct precision measurements using tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and thread gauges
- Generate and maintain inspection reports and quality documentation
- Support First Article Inspections (FAI) per AS9102 standards
- Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist with corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Create and update inspection plans and controlled documents
- Author Certificates of Conformance (CofC) for shipments
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with quality standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Inspection in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Hands-on experience with precision measuring equipment
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Familiarity with AS9100 / AS9102 standards preferred
