Job Description
Our client is a Third-Party Logistics (3PL) provider with multiple warehouse facilities in the Akron area. Our team is committed to maintaining clean, safe, and professional environments for our employees, clients, and visitors. We are seeking a reliable Painter/Warehouse Maintenance Associate to help support upkeep across our facilities.
Position Summary:
The Painter/Warehouse Maintenance Associate will be responsible for painting, touch-ups, and general cleaning of warehouse spaces across multiple facilities. This role is project-based but may lead to a long-term opportunity for the right candidate. Individuals who have forklift experience may be considered for ongoing warehouse roles within our operations team.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform painting, patching, and surface preparation for walls, doors, floors, and other warehouse surfaces.
- Clean and maintain warehouse common areas, walls, floors, and exterior surfaces.

Safely use ladders, lifts, and other equipment as needed for painting projects.

Properly handle, store, and dispose of paint and cleaning materials.

Assist with light maintenance tasks as directed (minor repairs, touch-ups, etc.).

Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times.

Coordinate with warehouse leadership to minimize disruption of daily operations.

Travel between multiple Akron-area facilities as required.
Qualifications:

Previous painting or maintenance experience preferred.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Knowledge of safe use of paint products, ladders, and equipment.

Willingness to perform cleaning and general upkeep tasks.

Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.

Reliable transportation to travel between multiple facilities.

Forklift certification a plus.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.

Comfortable working at heights and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Schedule:

Full-time or project-based, with the possibility of long-term employment.

Must be willing to travel between facilities as needed.
Compensation:
