Position Overview
We’re looking for an experienced, committed, and passionate Die Cutting Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have general knowledge of printing and prior experience as a die cutting pressman. This role is responsible for setting up, adjusting, monitoring, and operating a die cutting machine while ensuring accuracy, quality, and safety.

We’re looking for an experienced, committed, and passionate Die Cutting Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have general knowledge of printing and prior experience as a die cutting pressman. This role is responsible for setting up, adjusting, monitoring, and operating a die cutting machine while ensuring accuracy, quality, and safety.
Responsibilities

Set up, adjust, and operate the die cutting machine, including stripping and blanking processes.

Dismantle previous jobs, log impressions on saved jobs with date, press and chase number, or dispose of dies as marked.

Pull samples and glue sets to check for accuracy according to specifications.

Continuously check for accuracy and quality throughout production, monitoring the machine and correcting issues as needed.

Maintain and perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment.

Ensure total quality of the job while in operation.

Work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate teamwork spirit.

Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner.
Qualifications
-
1–3 years of related experience as a die cutting pressman (printing/packaging industry experience desirable).

Mechanical know-how and troubleshooting mindset.

Strong math skills.

High attention to detail with excellent close vision.

People-oriented with strong communication and teamwork skills.
