We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll keep our production equipment running at peak performance through preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
About the Role
As our Maintenance Technician, you will:

Maintain a preventative maintenance program for all presses and other manufacturing equipment.

Repair and test machines and/or machine assemblies.
-
Determine whether repairs should be made in-house or by an outside source.

Monitor quality of repairs performed by third-party contractors.

Perform electrical/mechanical diagnostic troubleshooting on all plant equipment.

Interface with production management and line personnel to ensure that equipment is utilized properly and efficiently.

Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner.
About You
You're a fit for the role of Maintenance Technician if your background includes:

High school diploma or GED.
-
3 years of similar experience.
-
Ability to read and analyze mechanical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics (machine shop experience a plus).

Ability to use common hand tools;knowledge of measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, etc.

Knowledge of industrial equipment including electrical wiring, electrical components, pneumatic systems, water/cooling systems, hydraulics, and general maintenance.

Experience operating lathes and other machining equipment;welding experience a plus.

Understanding of basic electrical/mechanics, metal fabrication, and application of various materials.

Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities, schedules, and tasks as needed.

Standing and walking required for 75% of the day, with some lifting and pulling required.
