Job Description
A well-established, multi-location organization is seeking a Corporate Controller who consistently exceeds expectations, thrives in a dynamic and challenging environment, and is motivated to develop both the business and their team.
This role is responsible for driving accurate, timely, and effective financial processes across a multi-location operation while ensuring compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and internal controls. The Corporate Controller will work closely with the leadership team, making strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills essential. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and managing competing priorities.
Role Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting for all locations

Manage all accounting operations, including cash management, billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, general ledger, cost accounting, revenue recognition, and inventory accounting

Supervise and develop the accounting team, including the Assistant Controller, Accounts Receivable Analyst, and Accounts Payable Analyst

Complete corporate reporting requirements and support financial, operational, and tax audits

Champion financial and operational process improvements across accounting functions

Prepare general ledger journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations

Develop and provide leadership with accurate, comprehensive financial information to support effective decision-making and policy setting

Coordinate the annual budgeting process and financial forecasts with organizational leadership

Develop, document, and maintain accounting policies and business processes to strengthen internal controls

Coordinate and manage the annual financial review and audit process with external auditors, including preparation of supporting documentation

Prepare tax inputs and serve as a liaison with external tax advisors

Partner with department leaders to support overall organizational goals by compiling, analyzing, and interpreting financial data and reports

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field required;CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred

Minimum of 10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience;prior experience in a multi-location manufacturing environment preferred

Demonstrated ability to remain composed under pressure and manage complex priorities

Strong time management and prioritization skills

Approachable leadership style with strong listening skills and a team-oriented mindset

High level of accountability with the ability to understand and anticipate the financial impact of business decisions

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide strategic insights

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including experience presenting financial information to senior leadership, boards, or external stakeholders
