Job Description
We are partnering with an established Northeast Ohio company that provides a wide range of new and used industrial equipment, parts, service, and related products.
We are looking for a Customer Service Coordinator to be a key point of contact for customers. This person will answer incoming calls, help customers identify and locate parts, process orders, and assist with resolving customer questions, complaints, and equipment-related issues.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, is comfortable learning technical products, and takes pride in finding solutions.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming customer calls and provide friendly, professional assistance
- Help customers identify and look up parts for industrial equipment
- Research product and part information to help customers find the correct items
- Enter and process customer orders accurately
- Provide pricing, availability, and other product information
- Assist customers with questions regarding equipment, parts, orders, and service
- Investigate customer complaints and issues and work to determine appropriate solutions
- Coordinate with sales, service technicians, vendors, and other departments as needed to resolve customer concerns
- Follow up with customers regarding open issues, orders, and service requests
- Maintain accurate customer and order information
- Assist with general administrative and customer service duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous customer service, inside sales, order entry, parts, or related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strong telephone and communication skills
- Good problem-solving and follow-up skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when entering orders
- Comfortable researching information and learning new products
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers who may be experiencing an issue or complaint
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn company software
- Mechanical, industrial equipment, manufacturing, or parts experience is a plus
