The Quality Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining high standards in the production process. The primary responsibility of a Quality Technician will be to investigate and resolve quality issues within the operation, create process improvements and best practice procedures, and communicate these to operators and support personnel to ensure the highest quality product is produced.

Job Description
Our partner is seeking a skilled Quality Technician to join their team and support operations in delivering high-quality thermal label solutions. Their offerings include direct thermal labels, thermal transfer labels, barcode labels, and more, serving businesses of all sizes across diverse industries.
The Quality Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining high standards in the production process. The primary responsibility of a Quality Technician will be to investigate and resolve quality issues within the operation, create process improvements and best practice procedures, and communicate these to operators and support personnel to ensure the highest quality product is produced.
This is a full-time position. 7AM-3: 30PM. Monday - Friday
Responsibilities:
- Assist operators with problem-solving techniques and improved operating practices.
- Train all employees in process improvement methods.
- Provide leadership and technical expertise in color management and process control.
- Use Microsoft Office programs to create corrective action reports, process flowcharts, and data tracking.
- Assist in developing and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) procedures in compliance with ISO 9001.
- Perform internal and external quality audits. Provide support for customer audits.
- Communicate with designated customer contacts regarding quality issues to ensure high levels of customer service.
- Complete first article, PPAP, and similar inspection documentation for customer approval.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical background, which could include a degree from a technical school or equivalent manufacturing experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate with people at all levels of the organization, and with suppliers and customers.
- Intermediate Excel skills or other analysis tools.
- Must be able to use color vision, hearing, sit for prolonged periods, speak and articulate clearly, lift less than 25 pounds, stand, walk, and use hands for handling or feeling.
