Job Description
Join the team as a Warehouse Associate, where you’ll enjoy great benefits, a supportive work environment, and unlimited opportunities for advancement.
This is a full-time position: Monday through Friday, 8: 00 a.M. To 4: 30 p.M.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize an RF Scanning device to scan item location and item number bar codes to confirm items picked for customer orders.
- Apply customer-compliant labels to cartons in preparation for shipment.
- Palletize cartons and shrink wrap pallets in preparation for shipment.
- Read, understand, and follow instructions on a pick ticket, packing slip, and receiving check-in sheet.
- Operate an Order Selector, Reach Truck, Fork Truck, or Turret Truck (depending on duties assigned).
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of an assigned set of pallet locations, including sweeping, straightening, and organizing cartons, removing empty pallets, shrink wrap, and cardboard, closing open cartons, and ensuring all items are properly labeled.
- Follow outbound shipping loading and order-checking procedures.
Skills:
- Ability to operate an RF Scanner.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work at a fast pace.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
- Extensive walking, lifting, bending, and standing.
- Long periods of operating material handling equipment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.
- Must be able to read an RF Scanner and pallet scale.
- Must be able to work overtime with little notice.
