Join the team as a Quality Support Specialist in Twinsburg, Ohio, where you’ll play a key role in supporting quality programs, customer complaint investigations, and product approvals within a collaborative and detail-oriented environment!


This is a full-time position: Monday through Friday, 8AM–4: 30PM.


Responsibilities:

PPAP
·Drive PPAP processes at the siffron Twinsburg site, assisting Engineering, Sales, and Quality in the approval process.
·Participate in internal and external meetings as needed for timely PPAP sample review and approval.
·Occasionally conduct on-site supplier PPAP reviews, including travel when necessary.

Customer Support
·Perform CCAR (customer complaints) investigations assigned to Twinsburg Quality through resolution and implement corrective actions.
·Coordinate mating parts and color chip activities needed for the siffron supply base.
·Investigate quality issues and support corporate quality, working with suppliers for problem resolution.
·Support other quality needs as assigned by the manager.

Secondary Functions:
·Back-up support coverage for receiving inspection at the Twinsburg distribution center.
·Assist the siffron quality team with needed training on quality processes.

Performance Measures:
·Successful and timely completion of all assigned tasks and objectives.
·Effective problem-solving using 8D/5 WHY/CAR tools and critical thinking techniques.
·Effective communication, both inside and outside of the department.
·Attendance and punctuality.

Minimum Qualifications:
·High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
·3+ years of quality assurance experience
·ASQ Certification preferred or 1–2 years of quality inspection experience

Skills & Competencies:
·Ability to use Microsoft Office and siffron quality system software
·Proficiency with calibrated measuring equipment (VMM, calipers, scales, basic quality tools)
·Familiarity with ANSI sampling plans and ASQ quality theories
·Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
·Strong organization and structured work habits
·Effective communication and ability to multitask

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:
·Ability to work independently without direct supervision
·Domestic travel for supplier audits and inspections as required
·Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. And perform physical inspection tasks
·High energy level to meet deadlines and schedules
·Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with overtime as needed
