Job Description


A leading packaging manufacturer in Cleveland is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Folding Gluer Operator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude and a background in glue-line assembly and production to grow with a company that values quality, safety, and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate feeder, glue systems, folder plates, packing stations, and inspection systems

  • Adjust folding machines according to job specs, including folds, paper size, and thickness

  • Operate automated, computer-controlled integrated inspection systems

  • Monitor machine performance and perform quality checks throughout production

  • Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs as needed

  • Maintain clean and organized equipment post-production

  • Follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Folding Gluer Operator in the printing or packaging industry preferred

  • Strong mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities

  • Solid math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

  • High attention to detail with excellent close vision

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
